In the world of freight transport, general goods category represents a wide range of goods and products. Basically, this category covers all goods that can be transported from one point to another by a standard means of transport.
In the general goods category, there are not included those goods, which due to their properties, characteristics, dimensions, volumes or weight can be transported only with specialized or authorized means of transport.
The general goods can be transported both in full transport (FTL) and groupage (LTL)

You have permanent control over the location of the goods during transport. The transported goods are insured by CMR.

Products requiring controlled temperature show a high degree of perishability, which is why we provide transport with refrigerated or Thermoking vehicles, equipped with controlled temperature units, providing maximum safety and cleanliness. Upon request, for perishable products, we organize urgent transports by means of transport with a crew of 2 drivers. We have extensive experience in shipping any goods that require controlled temperature – fresh, deep-frozen, frozen or refrigerated products. We transport any type of food (chocolate, dairy, fish, meat, fruits), flowers, medicines, plants, etc.

Depending on the size and weight of the machine, sometimes it may be necessary to provide a massive goods transport.
Machine transport, in normal conditions, can be carried out in full transport or group transport conditions.
When you need to transport machines, it is important that you specify in the application the exact dimensions (length, width, height, weight).
In the category of oversized goods, the products have one of the two characteristics:
have a side greater than 13.6 m long or 2.48 m wide or 3 m tall,
weight more than 24 tons.

We have access to a various fleet of trucks and trailers specialized in the transport of goods with oversized dimensions and/ or heavy and very heavy weight.

In Europe, road transport of dangerous goods is regulated by the ADR – European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, signed at Geneva on 30 September 1957.
Dangerous goods are the substances which by their physico-chemical nature can put in danger people, the environment, etc.
According to ADR, the classes of dangerous goods are as follows:
Class 3: Flammable liquids;
Class 4.1: flammable solids, self-reactive, explosive, solid desensitized substances;
Class 4.2: Spontaneously igniting substances;
Class 4.3: substances which, on contact with water, emit flammable gases;
Class 5.1: combustibles;
Class 5.2: organic peroxides;
Class 6.1: Toxic substances;
Class 6.2: Infectious substances;
Class 7: radioactive substances;
Class 8: corrosive substances;
Class 9: Different hazardous substances and objects.
The classification of the goods should be made by the shipper, eventually with the help of the consultants within our company, according to the safety sheet of each product carried.
We provide transport services in optimal safety conditions, with authorized vehicles, specially designed for the transportation of dangerous products.
Drivers are accredited by ADR and trained to solve any situations that may occur during transport.
Goods considered dangerous – according to the ADR Convention, require special attention both when packing for shipping and writting transporting documents to ensure maximum safety and legality in the delivery operation.
For this type of goods, CORALIS LOGEXPED will provide ADR transport services with authorized means of transport and accredited ADR drivers.
Dangerous goods may be solid or liquid – depending on this feature, you can choose regular ADR or ADR truck tanks.
Classification must be done by the sender (possibly with the help of the manufacturer) and under his responsibility.

Obligations of drivers carrying dangerous goods ADR
It is forbidden to the driver of a vehicle carrying dangerous goods or products:
– cause shocks to the vehicle;
– to smoke while driving or to ignite fire when stopping t a distance of less than 50 m from the vehicle;
– to leave the vehicle and the load without its supervision, of the attendant or of another person;
– to tow a vehicle left over;
– to follow other routes or to stay in places other than those established;
– allow the presence in the vehicle of other persons, except the other driver, of the attendants or of those who load or unload the goods or products transported;
– keep fuel reserves in the vehicle in packaging that is not specially made for this purpose.
Clothes are transported by trucks with different capacities, which have bars, stenders on two rows for this transport, thus ensuring optimal transport for all types of garments or textiles.
